Death Awaits is a short film about a young man who dreams of Death one night.  Then, on his way to work the next morning he sees Death following him.   Unnerved, he tries to evade the dark figure, but is eventually forced to confront his fears “face to face.”  In a flash of panic and fury, the young man attacks the physical appearance of Death and pounds him to the ground, kicking him until motionless.  Seemingly, he has beat death, but can he beat fate? (TRT 2:42 min.)

- What people are saying about it -

"Outstanding! Brilliant short film. Up and coming young director/ writer/ editor/ producer. Loved the opening and ending sequences. Enjoyed the B&W media, score and lighting."

dahendr (ifilm.com)

"I loved this movie. I think that the fact that it was done without any dialog was great because there is no language barrier to deal with and it gave the film a sort of subtle creepyness to it. The film being in black and white also helped it very much."

Doug  (urbanchillers.com)

"Dynamic piece of film work combined with short term hallucinative end result."

ralpheddy (ifilm.com)

"Wow, I cannot believe he kicked the reapers ass... What a concept. Good use of black and white, colour would not have been right for this. Also I kind of like the blochiness of the compressed video. Overall good job."

Hunter Curra (urbanchillers.com)

"That was a badass grim reaper, I loved it!"

Geoff Baumbach (urbanchillers.com)

"Not bad for a student film actually watched it twice...the score was pretty cool,,,and even though i'm a big DV fan...even shitty 16mm has more appeal."
