Story:

The story of “Conquistador” chronicles the experiences of a Spanish Conquistador (Geoff Slavin) lost in the New Mexican desert in the year 1540.   Alone and ready to die after his small mapping expedition is ambushed by Native Americans, his life is saved anonymously by a young Indian boy (Joshua Gírsha Candelario).  At first he thinks his survival is purely a miracle of the Lord, but soon finds out the truth, the realization of which makes him confront his darkest prejudices.   The tale that unfolds is both intense and heartfelt.
