My short film "Just Peachy" is now up and is currently featured on the homepage of Crackle.com. Crackle, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, is an entertainment network that showcases and distributes pioneering video programming from well-known and undiscovered talent. So make sure to go check it out there. Some of my other short films will be showing on Crackle soon as well.

Also, I am pleased to announce that the VFX work for my short "Combustion" is revving up again. I have posted two new test clips on the "Combustion" video page. They feature work on one of the more challenging human combustion shots towards the end of the film. Coby Dax at You Oughta be in Pixels is producing a number of fire effects for the film and has done all the camera tracking for the film.

Coby has launched his own web site recently and is showcasing much of his own work including our jointly produced short film "The Line". Check out his web site (see link above) to see "The Line" in it's entirety and a lot of other great pieces of work.

It's been a while. It's also been a busy few months. Projects and jobs have included more productions for the Adagio Group, Ironworkers Local 495, Sandia, and EPK footage for Toby Keith's "Beer for My Horses" motion picture. My short film Combustion has unfortunately had to take a back seat for a while. What remains are most of the visual effects, sound design and a score.

I have a number of projects in the works, but I've finally got up a video clip from a finished project a few months ago.

Check out the Albuquerque Plaza spec for LaBella. The job was produced by Paul Simmons for the Adagio Group. I worked as director of photography and coordinated some green screen shots and did the compositing for them.

It's been an extremely busy two months. Work has included a marketing video for the Adagio Group and ten 3-minute productions for APNM's Milagro Awards. Production continues on two other long form projects and animation for Sandia.

Work continues on the short film, "Combustion" but with no post-production budget it has to be done in between paid work for all those involved.  This has proved difficult.   Also in production are a few other corporate videos and some 3D animation for Sandia National Labs.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!   More production photos have been posted for the short film, "Combustion".   Check them out.   Still more photos to come.  Also, the first rough cut of the film is nearing completion and work on specific visual effects also continues from sky replacement to fire effects.

"Meeting of the Minds" has just won an "Award of Excellence" from the International Videographer Awards.  The short piece (made for Sandia Labs Diversity program) placed in the Special Effects/Animation category.  You can watch it from the Broadcast/Marketing page.

Also, production has officially wrapped on my short film "Combustion."   Editing and visual effects work are now ramping up.   Once again, thank you to all my cast and crew who freely gave their time, skills and effort to make this film!    I will continue to post information, photos and video through the post-production phase.

Most of the production of the short film, "Combustion" has wrapped and post-production has begun.   As of now, a couple of scenes have been rescheduled due to weather and a day for pickups has been scheduled towards the middle of April.    Thank you to all my crew and my cast that put in so much of their time, their skill and effort to help make this film!

Pre-production has begun on the short film, "Combustion" which is to be shot in late March.  This is another writing and directing project for Brent.   Carlos Cabarcas will be co-producing with Brent as well.

Another few days of shooting interviews for the "Always/Never" documentary will commence in Washington, D.C. this week as well.
